DRAFT LOCAL PLAN 2035
Participation is your right as a citizen in Selangor.
Under Agenda 21 of the Selangor State Government, cooperation between the Government and the Rakyat is heavily emphasised. It is both your right and responsibility as a resident of Selangor to take part in the discussions about the RT2035 by voicing your needs, both as an individual and as a neighbourhood, to the Selangor State Government in order to build a sustainable future for us all.
What is the Local Plan (RT 2035)?
The Local Plan (RT) is a physical planning document that translates the policy and strategic planning of the structural plan into a more detailed map of the land use map for the Local Planning Authority area, as outlined under Subsection 12(3), Act 172.
It details the policies and general suggestions for the development and usage of land, as well as translates and details the strategic policies of the Structural Plan into a physical form that is more specific and practical.
The Local Plan also clarifies all suggestions by the Local Planning Authority with regards to development and land use.
In short, the RT 2035 determines the landuse and type of development in Ampang Jaya for the next 15 years. It will affect how we will live, work and relax & play.

We are now at the final phase of the Draft RT 2035 (Replacement)
Beginning Monday 30th May 2022 to 29th June, 2022 a full report of the MPAJ DRAFT RANCANGAN TEMPATAN 2035 (Replacement) for the RT 2020 (Alteration 2 (2016)) is made available for inspection by the public.
Viewing The Draft
The draft is open to the public to view online and at various locations.

Key Information about the Draft
The Draft RT2035 is divided into three sections:-
“Jilid 1” (Section1 ) - “Penyataan Bertulis dan Peta Cadangan / Strategi” (English translation)
“Jilid 2” (Section 2) - “Kawalan Perancangan” (English translation)
“Jilid 3” (Section 3) - “Pengurusan dan Pelaksanaan” (English translation)

Detailed content on planning and types of development in our residential and/or business premise area.
that is found in the Draft.
Please examine the Draft carefully and submit your objections or representations* towards the contents of the draft by the 29th of June, 2022.
This is your right as citizens and stakeholders of Mukim Ampang Jaya.
The final contents of the RT2035, including the configuration of the zoning plan, will emerge from the public participation, your participation and State Planning Committee deliberations.

As of 1st June, the full report of the Draft RT2035 has still not been uploaded on to the MPAJ website link. MPAJ have still not responded to stakeholders enquiry as to whether the full report of Draft will be made available online.
AJ Rimba members had gone to visit the Bangunan MPAJ to view the full report on display. Please be advised that what is displayed on the boards is not the full report. Ask the officers looking after the exhibit booth for the bound copies of the full report (Jilid 1, 2 and 3) of the Draft RT2035.
